You’ve asked for the will of God in your life.
Remember when Jesus asked this He was faced with some hard pressed situations. The will of God is not easy to accomplish because His will has nothing to do with you it has to do with everyone else except you.
That doesn’t mean you don’t matter to him, it means that God’s will matters to you and you want to be part of what He is doing on the earth and He will accomplish it through those who are willing and obedient.
Can the will of God be accomplished even though it seems so hard? Yes! With His strength. (1 Peter 4:11) Christ is our example. He showed us that it is possible. It’s a good and honorable thing to ask God for his will to be done in your life but don’t mistake his perfect will to be glamorous with supernatural miracles happening left and right. It’s a job. God has a plan and it is a 24/7, 365, nonstop plan of bringing a fallen world back to him.
When you think of being Christ-like you think of being kind, practicing the 9 fruits of the Spirit. Well that’s correct but remember Christ suffered. He was never “comfortable” in life from birth to death. His life did not gain anything but lost it in doing His father’s will.
(Isaiah 53, John 10:17,James 1:2-4, 1 Peter 4:1-2)
Rearrange your thought patterns. If you think you are suppose to live comfortably with little problems such as: fear, heartaches, lacking in finances, than you will think you are at a disadvantage when actually as a follower of Christ you are living a life of humility without even realizing it.(Proverbs 15:33)
Does your Father want you to be blessed? Yes!
sickness free? Yes! Its all under the blood of Jesus. Just don’t lose heart when it goes the opposite way. The enemy will use it to his advantage to oppress you with whatever you are fearful or worried about. Stand on the promises. Stand in faith. Take the stand, you are a tree planted by the waters your roots go deep. No storm can uplift you from where you are planted (Psalms 1:3, Jeremiah 17:8)
He sees you, He knows you and He calls you by name.
Call out to your Father. His pure unconditional love will abound to you.
